I have a 1984 50 hp evenrude runs great...
problem is i hit a mud flat and messed up the empeller.
took it to the shop had them clean it out and put a new impeller in it.
they said it was fixed took it to the river and overheated..
took it back to them and they said the thermostat had mud in it and they cleaned it out..
took it to the river and it overheated again...
it does pee when it is idleing and running at half throttle but when you open it up it slows own to a trickle
and then over heats once you slow the motor down to and idel wait 4 or 5 min and the steam is solid again
and it cools off open it up and it stops peeing again...what could it be????
