I have a 57' Johnson cd-14 5.5 hp motor that I rebuilt.I'm putting it back together and need to know what you use to seal the crankcase and cylinder block. There is no paper gasket.DO I use an anaerobic sealant? and if so is there a brand that is best for marine applications? Any and all help would be appreciated.

Three Bond 1104, or Yamaabond 4, or Hondabond 4 are all goos and availlable at motorcycle shops.
