I just bought a 94 22' Reinell Coho with a 5.7 I/O. Im have having trouble with it wondering back and forth at low/idle speeds only. I took it to my mechanic and he showed me where the power steering actuator has play in the shaft. The shaft moves back and forth in the housing where the cable hooks into the end and the rod comes out the other side, if that makes sense. He said he could find no adjustments for the unit and that it would have to be replaced. I have read where this is normal but the play in the actuator does not seem right. I have been around many types and sizes of boats and have never seen or heard of this before. This cant be normal. Thanks, Chris
