To all those on this forum, I'm new to this, so please bear with me....
I have a 1985 Johnson VRO outboard- it's been "bogging out" under 2/3- full throttle. The VRO pump probably needs to be replaced...??... I saw a thread from j_k_ bisson that the fuel side of this pump could be rebuilt- does anyone know if this is true. I have had the motor for 17 years, and have always mixed gas/oil manually, so I only need the fuel side of this pump to work. Otherwise, I'm going to replace the pump....
