got a 7o something wellcraft airslot 24.i think the transom is bad. got some cracks in the hull, and a lot of cleanup and floor repair. does anyone know how thick the hull is on these boats? if the cracks would be bad enough to let water in? is it even worth it?109_0002.jpg109_0007.jpg109_0008.jpg

Whether or not the boat is worth restoring is a personal decision. There isn't much that can't be fixed and if you want to put in the time, effort and money into fixing her up, you will get more than enough help in here. Start by posting a few pics of the cracks so we can see exactly what you're dealing with.

Welcome to iboats Icewater!

To expand on what York said - if you're looking for a flip type thing then no it's not. If you want a project that will take a year or more and a couple thousand dollars (perhaps more that's a bigger boat) and come out the other side with a basically new boat - then yes its worth it. It really is only a choice you can make.

With a bad transom and the mention of floor that needs repair most likely there's going to be stringer and under floor rot issues too. If you decide to tear into it there's lots of knowledge here to help. On the other side if you get into it and change you mind there is always the option to part it out so it's not a complete loss.
