I am starting to investigate replacement brakes for my sig trailer. As I am a saltwater boater, i have looked at bronze brake kits. Anyone used them or have info/thoughts?

So...no one has used bronze brakes? I guess i shouldn't be surprised...they're pretty pricey!

I'm not familiar with the Bronze brakes, but can imagine they would be expensive....Maybe Stainless Steel?...

Re: Bronze Brakes?

I had the "Null" brakes, They are Bronze and gave good service. When it came time to replace I went with the Kodiak stainless steel setup. The Bronze doesn't seem to suffer the galling that the Kodiaks can but the parts availability of the Kodiaks are top notch. I think in a pinch you can use 81-86 Buick Skylark pads..... Nice just in case.

Nothing bad to say about the Null's though.
