6HP Chrysler 1970's? Pull cord help!!!

I have a 6hp chrysler 1970 somthing, yesterday i was pulling it and the cord broke. I got the whole recoil system out and i need help installing the rope. There looks to be 3 holes on the black thing, anyways i need help pictures would be AWESOME even if its just a good view of how to tie it to the recoil, installing the recoil system would be a great help as well. Thanks guys need this thing up and running later today so anything is appreciative!

That's really tough to explain.
Go to U-tube.
Put in Chrysler 6 hp rewind repair.
Should show a video or 2

I hope you found a youtube that helped. The best I saw from a glance was a 1980 Chrysler 6hp outboard motor recoil spring.How to (at the address below). Better Still! In the video I saw a slot to use a pull rope. Do you have the same option? If so that might be Your Quick Fix!

Mines a 1970 somthing it looks a lot different :(

When I put in Chrysler 6 hp rewind repair,the video poped up 1st try???
