Hello i was running my 1953 Evinrude 7.5hp which i bought 1 year ago and put it back together.I thought it might be running hot,the water pump looks good and there is plenty of water coming out of the Pee hole in a barrel.When i shut off the engine,it looks like steam coming out of the Pee hole.The cylinder head seems a little bit hot to touch.So today I ran my 1966 evinrude 5hp in the barrel and the cylinder head seem to also be alittle hot to touch. Is this normal?? i am going to get a heat sensing gun to see the actual temp.I did have the head off the 1953 and install a new head gasket.The water jacket did look fine and hardly any crud. Thanks john
