I bought my boat with a newly installed motor, and it has very low hours. So, I'm working out the bugs...thanks to folks on here!! The pulley wobbles slightly, but enough to notice and feel at low idle. The circulation pump really shows the movement and the hose is wearing where it crosses over the alternator mount. I can see variation in the distance between the pulley and the vibration damper. Is this normal? Plan of attack? Thanks!!!

You don't have the pump mounted correctly. There are raised portions on the pulley that must fit up inside the pump base, if you have the pump sitting on top of one, it will wobble like crazy.

This would affect how the pulley seats up to the vibration damper? There is a noticeable difference in gap between the pulley and the damper.

It could, take it apart and look. May be something under the pulley as well.
