Re: ignition problem

I have been working on a friends Chrysler 75 that had no spark. It had a CDI box and gapless plugs. After doing much research i found out that these CDI packs are not very reliable and can be expensive. If the engine is turned over with the plugs disconnected / not grounded they blow. In short I replaced the box with an old style automotive coil and condenser. Now there is a strong reliable, testable spark. Try this link for the details

There is an excellent 'how to' re carb adjustment / setting under the FAQ section on this forum.
