It is recommended to complete this operation by at least two adults. One person gets on boat first, and another person stays on shore to pass the outboard motor. The man on boat temporarily put the machine on the plate awaiting for the other man comes on board. The actual installation process is as the following:
1. Person A and B carry the engine at the same time, and take it to the stern plate to begin the installation operation;
2. One person move the engine head to the right place, another install the engine tail cleat into the stern plate, and both of them adjust the engine body to the intermediate position;
3. The last and the most important step is to take force to tighten two safety screws on the outboard machine, and ensure that they will not lose in high-speed driving and violent vibration conditions. If the outboard machine lose and fall into water, accidents may happen.
