Help !!? 1988 Black Max 150 HP Where does small diameter black tube connect??

Upon opening the covers on my 1988 150 HP black max there's a small black plastic tube about 1/4" diameter that's unconnected. I can't find where on the motor this tube plugged on?? I'll try to post a picture.

The tube comes from the wiring and cabling from over the transom so I'm suspecting it might be speedo cable.
It's on the drivers' side of boat, the same side of the motor as the starter and fuel filter, but I can't for the life of me find something it plugged to. Don't know if it's high up on motor or down toward bottom. In the picture I've got it hanging in a large C shape so it's obvious. Can anybody help me find what/where it plugs?? Thanks in advance for your attention to my question.

It plugs into the lower unit in front of the water pump and acts as the speedometer pickup line.

I have checked and apparently this is not the speedo line. There is a separate line that looks to be the same size that comes over the transom that goes down to the front side of the lower unit. It's connected and intact. Would there be two of these lines??

So you're saying there would be 2 tubes?
Where does the water pressure gauge tubing plug in??

My problem is the tube is undone and I don't see where it came unplugged from.

Look on top of tha block. Close to tha plastic wing nut...........

Are you talking about up on the top of the block at the back of the flywheel wing nut? I don't see a plastic wing nut anywhere?

Yeah. Tha wing nut holding tha flywheel cover on. Looks like a bib stickin' straight up. Can't tell for sure. Thats where a pressure guage would tie in if it does have a guage..............

Thanks for the help ! You guys are great ! I've found it and that HAS to be where it was connected. If I route it up the side alongside the starter it's just the right length. I've attached a second picture to help anyone for future reference.
