Had it on there for 20 years. Just took it off. Maybe I should not read this forum so much :).
Cant remember if it ran better or not when installed...I cant hardly remember last week

Anyway took it off need to replace trim tab which is broke...Had my bellows done, took it out everything worked fine.
I think they broke it during the repair, abit disappointed they did not replace it.

I do believe they did a good job with the bellows and lower shift cable, new trim pucks. $1400, more than the quote but maybe I did not hear him right. They also replaced fuel filter and messed with the oil pressure guage. Labor time maybe an extra hour.

If I remember right wanted the boat to plane faster, when I bought it.
Read on this forum about some kind of trim tabs would work better.

Will take a picture of back of transom.

Read good things about them. Not sure if it will fit between speedo and strap that holds down boat
