Ive got a metal 20 gallon tank that sits under my splashwell. Easy access to remove if i want. So should i fill it up and put in some sta-bil, or take it out and put it in the garage?

Fill it and add stabilizer... Putting it in the garage or leaving it outside is basically irrelevant unless somehow your garage is a sealed ecosystem with zero humidity.

Agree. Fill it and add stabilizer/ethanol treatment. It's in the perfect storage space where it is - no need to clutter up the garage;)

If it seals, just throw some stabilizer in it a seal it. Filling it is not necessary.....

Might be good to add the Stabil and then fill the tank to mix it and force most air out of tank....prevent the tank "breathing" due to warming/cooling of the day and sucking atmospheric moisture into tank....like we do on the airplane...always full!;)....
