I am having a stalling problem. The motor runs smooth for 5-10 minutes and then does a slow stall. Also occurs at higher speeds . I have replaced the fuel tank and contents , new primer bulb and hose, spark plugs , had the carb cleaned at the local service shop, cleaned all grounds, and it continues to stall. Compression is at 125 and 130 respectively. any ideas where to look now??

I was going to suggest the problem was from a fuel tank vent not working but since you have a new tank, that's not as likely the cause. The fuel pump itself may be dying. Disconnect the fuel line at the carb and crank it over watching for fuel to squirt out. Go over all fuel related connections looking for loose carb bolts, loose fuel line connections, cracks in fuel line etc. Another thought is the impeller is going bad (or the thermostat) allowing the motor to overheat which will shut it down slowly like you described.

well, the jury has reached a verdict! It appears that the air/mixture adjustment on the carbeurator was improper, and coupled with a linkage adjustment , the motor has responded well ! the motor is running well under load (in tank , in gear, high speed seems good.) Thanx to the admiral for his support. PS, added a new water pump for safe keeping, cheers all.
