Fuel in exhaust

I have a mid 90s model Johnson 100hp GT and it seems to be spitting gas thru exhaust. When i start it or stop and idle i notice the gas rings in the water. when i start it is when it seems to be the worst. not sure if this is due to unburnt fuel from a cylinder that is not getting fire. I took cover off and ran it and saw no external fuel leaks. I have always got great help from the iboat forums before so here we go again. Thanks:)

How's the mtr run overall ?? Good idle, good top end performance ??

idles very low. I plan on adjusting it tomorrow but other than that seems to run like a champ.

Best not go looking for problems in my book especially if it is running well.
