My oil pump leak between the head end the maniful (o-ring) Evinrude ficht 1999

I know that some of you tried something. Please if you have an idea let me know .

What o-ring are you talking about ?? I don't see one on a parts break down.

This o-ring doesn't figure out on component part, it's in the oil lift. I can ordered each part of this pump but not this o-ring. I tried another that I bought at the dealer for 0.32, same size, look like the original, fit perfectly, but doesn't work! My dealer said to me that I have to by a new pump for 1000$

If this is the oil LIFT pump I just went to the BRP web site and it shows it is part # 5000372 and sells for $321.00. If it is the oil INJECTOR it says see dlr. Check out shop.evinrude.com and look up your mtr.
