All,

Can someone inform me how the two air lines route on a Johnson 35HP? The one from the fuel connector goes where? The one from the cut-out switch goes where? Marineengine.com indicates the bottom center outlet of the intake manifold goes to the cut-out switch. The one to the left on the mainfild to then goes to the Fuel connector? Can someone please check their engine and let me know?

Mine are (or rather were) broke when I bought this engine. Sat since the late 70's. Peices of hose on bottom of engine cover assembly. Rats nest inside and they chewed through the hoses.

Thank You!

There are 2 nipples on the intake manifold. 1 to the left of the carb, the other beneath the carb. The 1 to the left of the carb goes to the cutout switch. The 1 beneath the carb go to the fuel connector.

The line from the intake manifold goes to the "air" side of the connector. A fuel line then goes from the "fuel" side of the connector to the intake of the glass sediment bowl, then another gas line out of the bowl goes to the carb.

Well I assumed he knew the air side of the connector, as we are only talking about the air lines here, but guess you never know.
