merc 74, 7.5 hp, short shaft.
i cant seem to get this stupid motor running right. it will start, run, but just wont low idle.
replaced, plugs, rebuilt the carb, fuel pump. has spark, 130 pound if compression.
i am unsure if i put the fuel pump together correctly. it is mounted on the side of the carb. there was so many gaskets i tried to follow the old installation but im unsure of it was proper to begin with.
anyone have some diagrams? yes i have some manuals but they dont show exactly how the series of gaskets go together.
