my boss's boss, gave me his dad old duck hunting outboard. he has been moving it around his garge for the 15 years since he got from his dad, and finally said, heck illl ask Bob if he wants it.,
well Bob did want it. its a 1983 7.5 hp rope start short shaft...while it is painted flat gray on the cover....it is super clean inside....prop is mint...pulled the plugs and they were soaked with oil...so i am thinking he fogged it when he put it away.... great spark, but it wont fire over..i suspect the float is stuck.......but I am happy. I have a 15 hp, I use for a kicker and for my small boats...but it is really heavy it seems and I have a 6 hp...that isnt too bad......but this is just a little more HP with no more weight....the 9.9's weight the same as the 15's.....so i am thinking the 7.5's and the 8 HP are the best of both worlds..
now I have 8 outboards!
two 115's, a 90 turned 115, a 70 hp ,a 48 special, a 15hp , a 6hp and this 7.5hp
