Hi all..

Took the cowl hood off my motor last night, and to do so, I had to unscrew two adjustment dials (sorry I dont recall what they were).

However, one of them I believe was a low gear fuel adjustment dial. This dial has a set twist radius (from left to right) that is determined by an odd shaped piece.

Which if you slightly push down, only then can you unscrew the dial completely to remove the dial.

I think this piece on mine is slightly bent...and wanted to confirm.

On the top, is how my part is shaped...

On the bottom is how I believe it should be shaped.

And since I do not have a manual yet, would anyone have insight into this?

thx

That tab screws into the air silencer. It is properly shaped as is. Not how you would think.

Here is the part I am talking about..You can see it in the forefront of the photo....just want to make sure I was explaining it enough...;

the piece just looks bent out of shape... but hey...what do I know.

Yea, the little tab on the left side looks like it is bent out of shape, try and match it to the other side.
You don't have to remove the needle valves to remove the cover, just remove the screws that are in the END of the needle valve and the knob will come off.

Yeah sorry that is bent. I thought from your pic you were describing the stop for the high speed jet.
