200hp Yamaha oil sensor showing yellow and not auto filling tank on engine

I have twin Yamaha 2006 200hp outboards. The problem is my digital gauge is showing a yellow oil level in my aux tank and that is stopping the oil pump from auto filling the engine tank. I can use the emergency switch to fill it on the engine, so I'm pretty sure its not a filter etc... seems to me the aux tank sensor/float in the boat may be faulty. Is there anyway I can check this or bypass the aux tank so that it reads green and the pump will work when the engine tank calls for oil? Capn Bob Racine Wi.

Doing what its suppose to do. When the tank reads Yellow, it stops pumping in automatic to remind you to refill the tank when the indicator turns red. You should have enough oil in the tank to refill the engine tank twice with the manual switch. This to keep people from running the engine until its too low and they run out of oil.
