Hello as I said in a earlier tread my Johnson 3.5 is ruining a bit groggy as a last resort after I change fuel etc, rather than buy a crab repair kit that I will need if I opt for cleaning, can I not just buy this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tohatsu-Nis...M3-5-Parsun-3-6HP-2-stroke-/250989627086#shId
it looks exactly the same as a Johnson one even compared it side by side in a parts pdf and it exactly the same and about the same price as a crab cleaning kit easy just bolt on for me without having to dismantle a crab that I am not confidant doing. your thoughts please.

Not wise to buy someone else's grief. Yours is jetted appropriately for your application. The other may not be. Cleaning that carb is easy. Good time to learn how.

I'm thinking he meant carb instead of crab. I studied those pictures and couldn't find a pincher or claw on any of them :)
