Pulsing or wobble felt in steering wheel

I ran aground into a soft marshy area while going about 15mph. After we got out of the shallow area, I could feel a bit more pressure in the steering wheel when turning. I have power steering. Also, when turning (and only turning) I can feel a wobble / pulsing felt via the steering wheel. I hope it's not a damaged u-joint. Any thoughts?

Short of hoisting it out of the water and pulling the drive, are there any other symptoms that would indicate a bad u-joint?

Thanks!

Some more info will be needed. Did the drive/prop run aground? Was it a hard or soft stop? Did the engine stall? What did you do to get out of the shallows?

A u-joint could be felt in any steering position and when you trim the drive.
Id look at the skeg, probably tweeked it a bit when you hit bottom.

I'd suspect prop. Tilt it up out of the water & take a look. Should be obvious. If its not, I'd worry about the prop shaft as mentioned.
