I don't really know much when it comes to boat motors so bare with me, this is my first. I just bought a '77 Evinrude 6HP. I got it for cheap and it runs real good except when I took the top off I saw a hose that leads to the bottom of the upper housing and it looks like water should be coming out. I read somewhere about having to wait for the Thermostat to open up but when I tested it out, I went out on the lake for a couple minutes but no water. Can anyone help me out?
