water in cylinders

If you use the wrong ear muffs and cover up weep hole on side of the out driver on an 89 omc 4.3 cobra can water be forced up into cylinders any hydro lock motor ??? Or is there something else happening ive never had this problem before ,i removed spark And bled water out and ran it with no problems , i mean no water in cylinders , but water in my oil I drained and refilled and still water in oil. what's the easy est way to get water out of oil . On a boat motor. Thanks

Water going in from the muffs cannot find it's way in to the cylinders unless there is a problem on the way out... there are several things that will cause water in the oil.. Bad Head Gasket, Cracked Block Or Heads, Bad Intake Gaskets etc... on the exhaust side, you can have blocked exhaust forcing water back, or bad flappers, cracked risers etc... You need to find where the water is coming from before you worry about getting it out of the oil... This will not be an easy one - get to work!
