radio issues

First I have alot of interference on AM stations FM is good. Second if i use the radio and not the motor for awhile the engine won't start, I have to turn the power off to the radio( it is on the acc switch on the dash) wait about 15 minutes then the motor starts fine. any thoughts, suggestions?

weird. the acc circuit and the engine circuit are 2 diffrent harnesses so the first thing to do would be to take the battery to any automobile place and have them load test it for you.
