I have a Glastron x19-S and have discovered an oil leak around the rim of the oil pan, about centered on the port side. It feels like it is rusted through right next to the head of a bolt and at low RPM it sprays out the side into the bilge. I am just curious if there is enough room to remove that pan with the engine installed. It doesn't look too deep and I am sure I would have to remove the pick-up tube before I could slide the pan sideways but I was hoping someone else may have some experience with this. I don't want to have to pull the engine unless I realy have to. Don't have the means at home.

It has a Mercruiser 3.0 and the boat is mid 80's.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,....

Nope, ya really can't swap the base in a boat, without atleast haulin' the motor, forward, 'n up enough to clearly get to stuff....

Forward, 'n on it's side can work... Just plain ole Out, 'n on a stand is Much easier yet...
