Can anyone tell me how to remove the starter motor from an Evinrude 25hp 1988 model please?
The motor has been engaging for a couple of seconds before dropping out - although it still spins.
I removed the two through bolts, the bottom casing fell out,along with the springs and bushes.
However the remaining assembly is still too long to be able to remove it from the 'holding ring'
I really can't figure out a way without removing the carb and, perhaps, even more :facepalm:
