Replaced my old wheel hubs with prepacked Reliable hubs 1250#. Went from 4.80/8 wheels to 5.70/8 tires, boat and trailer weigh 1060 lbs. Hubs seem to running warmer than I would like. Any advise on this matter?

If you tightened the Spindle Nuts, Don't tow again until you loosen them!

They are tightened with fingers while the hub is spinning and then LOOSENED back to the previous hole that allows the cotter pin to go in!

Do you have a way to check the actual temperature of the hubs?

Spindle nuts are adjusted properly. There are no brakes and the hubs aren't to hot to touch by any means, just warmer than I would like. They seem warmer than the old hubs which ran around 110-118 degrees.

Did you also change wheels ? Open spoke type ? Maybe cooling effect does not disapate heat as fast. Could cause hubs to run a little warmer.
