Hello,

I have a 1990 Rinker with 4.3l V6 I/O. I've notice oil in the water after trimming up in shallow water since last year. It seems to be getting worse. Does go away after the trim is all the way down. There is always a little water in the bilge as well with rainbow oil look too.
This is my second season. Haven't had much work. Some basic routine maintaince and had a exhaust manufold replaced along with the steering cable assembly.

Any ideas on what I should have looked at?

Thanks

Welcome Captain Princess --start with the simple things 1st. have you checked to see if the fluid levels are full in your oil dip stick, power steering reservoir and the level in the trim pump is full?

Pull the drive and check the bellows, Bet you have a milky, oily, rusty brown mess inside, and probably milky gear lube as well.
