Hi,

I have a 1988 Sea Ray Seville I have been restoring the built in depth finder on the dash was not working after inspecting the wiring I determined it was not receiving power after hooking it up correctly it turns on but only flashes a 0 at me. I have looked for a transducer or where a transducer would be on the hull in the stern and have not found anything.

Does anyone have this model boat and know where the manufacturer has put the transducer what type of transducer it has or know of a compatible transducer that will work with the DSM on this boat. Or if I should just scrap the whole system and start new.

Any help would be great thanks in advance

Re: Sea Ray Seville 1988 transducer

Its a Lowrance 3400 and I have found the transducer in the bilge, however I have no idea how to operate the unit. Not sure what the flashing 0 means and when I unplug and plug in the conections on the DSM I sometimes get a flashing 5. Any suggestion on where to find a manual for this unit. Or anyone with a 3400 out there know how this thing operates?

Are you on the water when you turn it on? I don't believe it will read on dry land on a trailer.
