maryland title question...please help

ahoy all my question is this, i have just bought a boat and trailer, my trailer has a title but no tag or sticker on it. Will i be able to title it in my name or does it have to a tag or sticker..

I believe you will need a bill of sale along with that title transferred to you. Then you will be able to register the trailer and obtain a tag.

Maryland requires a title and a bill of sale. Pay the 5% sales tax and your registration fee and your good togo

Did this trailer come from another state? If so, I'd call the MVA because it seems like they treat each state different when doing title and reg here.

Do you need a separate bill of sale if you buy the trailer from another Marylander?

I hope not.

I thought the seller just signed the Maryland title over to the buyer, and that also constituted the bill of sale.
