1982 60HP evinrude idles fine, but runs away as soon as you give gas. Help!

Hi Guys,

Got a question for the guru's. I have this 1982 60HP 2 Cylinder evinrude that starts and idles just fine, but as soon as I give it gas, the motor revs like crazy and wont slow down at all.

What could be causing this?
