I just finished an engine rebuild on a 1982 Mercruiser 470, including bearings, a new Melling oil pump, and a mechanical oil guage. Everythings running fine out on the lake, but I noticed I am getting 75lbs oil pressure at 2500rpm. (it drops at lower revs). Does this sound too high, and should I be concerned? Thanks.
