bolt a 170 into a 120 hole?

1st boat. 70's Sabrecraft with mercruiser 120- GM and M-I out.
I'm guessing salt water corrosion is too great to try and save the block, thus the question.
What engines would "bolt right in"? 140? 170?
What info am I lacking?
Found the Service Manual (manual #1) online. Is it available in print? Have the Seloc.

No. They are totally different engines. The 140 would bolt right in.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,... Stick with the 120hp, or 140hp, as the 470 is a Major step Backwards....

If ya found the online manual, save it to disk, 'n print yer own...
