I am need of help with getting a transom seal replaced for this old boat. I want to do it myself. Will the Solec manual help me with this? Can I still find a part (transom seal) for it? Also, the boat doesn't want to turn right. Is this something I can repair myself?
I apologize for being too general.

Welcome aboard Dave:

Post a couple of pictures of your stern drive and tell us what engine you have. That'll help us figure things out a bit. The manual should tell you how to change the boot, and depending on which one you need the boot should be pretty available. We need a bit more information though.
