I recently purchased a GM replacement carb for my 3.0LX Mercruiser, and i need some help. The factory fuel line does not fit, it's not long enough.

the carb i purchased is:

i have some spare steel braided fuel line sitting in the garage that i can use to extend the line, i just need some fittings. My question is, what size is the fitting on the line so i know what adapters to get.

Or, if anyone has any better ideas please let me know. I'd like to get this thing running asap.

Re: GM Carb replacement help

FF I had this same problem along with the old carb linkage being a push and the new being a pull :( :( Honestly your best bet is gonna be to remove the line and take it with you to buy fittings. Unless you have to order them in?

my linkage is a pull, however the choke seems to be backwards so it's staying wide open. what did you do to solve your linkage issues?
