1991 King Cobra Shifting Issue

Hi,

I have a 1991 liberator with a 5.7L engine in it. I have been experiencing shifting issues. I can shift into reverse but not into forward. The control box/handle was loose and a little funky so I have since ordered a new one. I am wondering what else can be wrong? I appreciate any help in advance.

Howdy, Welcome aboard!

You're going to need to post your model number. OMC made 2 different drives in 90 & 91. Yours could be any one of those.

Dont have the # handy but it doea have the cone clutch if that helps
