Just got 93 jazz for free. Sat for 3-4 years, started ocassionally. Was told engine was rebuilt in 2007-2008. Would start but only run for about 30-40 seconds. Took Carb assembly off to find lower throttle plate wedged open by a loose nut??? Not sure how got there but removed and reassemble. Fired right up. Went out for first water trip, dropped it in and started right up. Not knowing what to expect, was pleased with performance. Shut engine down to sit for a minute and enjoy the sun and when sitting there could hear bubbling sound from underneath. I thought we were taking on water. Not the case. Tried to start back up with no luck. Cranks over wouldn't fire?? Dummy me brought no tools.. Got it home parked it. Next day went out and fired back up no problems. Suspect ignition/spark issue. Any thoughts?? And curious what "bubbling sound" could have been.
