Due to an accident,myAquamax inflatable took a hit on the side of the transom. The impact popped the transom piece that was glued onto the port side tube. This is a pvc type boat. What kind of glue do you use for such repairs?

Temperature and humidity are very important.

Acetone to clean off ALL old glue. You can use something like a scuffy pad to assist with cleaning. Do not remove any PVC material. A thorough wipe with MEK right before you apply the glue will help with adhesion.

What is the brand and model of boat, along with year?

I wouldn't use the acetone on PVC as you can destroy the UV inhibitor in the PVC.
