Are they in a RIB? I bet the grenades were way past the expiration date. They prolly put away a bit of vodka afterwards.

Be my guess. I already saw this on an auto racing forum I frequent. Think he was trying to time it and held the grenade a little too long. I once lost a thumbnail to a lady finger the same way.

Explosives is a business of mine and even following my 20 yrs in the Army I still respect and do not like grenades....... I do allot of movie work and local explosives work......

However as stupid as that video is and how lucky they are...... I smell staged. How nice it was to be running a video camera on them and the camera did not jump.
