omc 176641 tachometer

I need to know wich pin on the tachometer that is earth(negative),power(positive) and pulse?!

My enginge is a evinrude e70elcrd and it?s only got the three cables from the remote and not the system check cable that the tachometer is made for from the beginning.

Or the tachometer can?t be wired only by this three cables and still work?Does it only work with system check cable/engine?

I have asked this question in swedish boatforums but got no answer so this is my last hope ;)

I can't imagine that the tachometer uses all 8 of the pins, so I think you could use the standard 3 wires. But I have not been able to find the pinout for this tach, unfortunately, or even a picture of the wiring harness.
