1987 Mercruiser 4 cylinder FWC - leaks antifreeze out of the weep hole on the circulating pump .( pump is part of the timing chain / front cover and not replacable ) I replaced the 2 camshaft seals and installed Redi-Sleeves over the scores on the camshaft. Still leaks , though not quite as much . Any ideas ?
Thanks
Bob

You've probably reviewed this material already since you're apt enough to tackle this problem yourself. Check this link for some hints or possible errors you may have made during the repair. Check or pressure test the cap, go for the lowest pressure cap you can find, maybe your over heating a bit and build too much pressure.

i would put a shim behind the new seal to bump it out .015 or .020" to get on fresh steel and not in the groove of the old seal.
