Astro 18fsx wiring diagram

I am adding a depthfinder to the front of my Astro 18FSX...The front panel has three spare wires in the harness...Which ones can I use to connect the df? Where can I get a wiring diagram for this boat?

Step 1 - Determine which wire is which with a multi meter or with a 12V probe (I prefer a multi meter)

See what is hot all the time or if they work off a key switch

You might have to run a new set of wires to get a clean connection (W/O any interference to the new DF)

Be sure to run this through (Or add) a fuse.

There probably is not a wiring diagram specific to your boat since many are wired with options at the dealerships. I will move this to the electronics section. There are generic diagrams here.

I have an Astro 1910FS I couldn't find any good source in the front panel from the starter battery.(you don't want to use power from trolling motor battery for depth finder) I ran a separate 12v+ and ground from console source with an inline fuse for my depth finder.
