1956 johnson 5.5 medallions?

wrong forum, but i just got a freebee cd-13,( rough but good parts motor) it has both the plastic medallion on the front of the cowl...faded but not broken, and the chrome medallions on the back half of the cowl. were any made this way, or do i have a mixture of a 56 and a later cowl? just curious!

The CD13 had the chrome medallions on the rear, a white seahorse on the front. Not the plastic medallion. Strange, post a pic. Ive never heard of one having both.

thats what i thought, the cd 13 had a decal on the front, and the chrome meds on the rear half, this one has been painted, but has both? but who knows what has been done it its life! lol will post pics as the medallions look to be in the right locations.
