I have a 12 in gouge in 24ft winner overnighter. It don't seem to take on any water but I can see it leak when it's on the trailer. How do I fix?

All the bad glass has to be ground out and new glass installed and coated. Looks like the entire hull needs a good cleaning as that can really affect performance plus make it easier to see any othe bad spots.

Even if you can't see water getting into the hull, find water in the bilge or hear the bilge pump kick on, if there's water leaking out of that gouge, water is getting into the hull cavity below decks.

Based on the 2nd pix, the gouge looks like it is about 6" from the keel.

Ended up buying the thing for 1000 351clevland runs strong and outdrive is fresh runs up the Mississippi great just need to clean of up and fix the gouge. Interior is very clean

If its leaking then its taking on water :) .

Thats how you fix it. Grind and glass. Your 12" is gonna be about 18"-20"x4" when its all said and done.

Can you get to the inside location of the repair ?

I could pull Up the floor and remove the rear fuel tank. Can this be done from the outside?
