Motor was running great. Now starts fine, idles, give it throttle, ok.....get to 1500 rpms the engine bogs and stalls out. The engine will rev to higher rpms when not under load.
Cleaned carbs, checked fuel pump, stator was replaced a few years ago.

About to check timing, coils, and resistance on stator, etc. but not sure that will show much as one morning all was well, then the following morning, idling across the lake.
Any thoughts are appreciated.

Easy stuff first.Check compression and check spark on all 6.Make sure choke/enricher valve is not stuck open(flooding).
Harder stuff second.Carbs may need rebuild with new gaskets, needle seats, float check and height adjusted to spec.

Checked compression, all good at 100+ psi. But no spark on any of the coils. I ran through the coil resistance tests in the manual, and all tested readings are off. Before I drop $$ on six new coils and plug wires, any other suggestions? Test the switch plates? Tips on that? To be honest, not sure im testing the coils properly. Stator tests out good.
Checked fuel pump, all good. Cleaned carbs for grins. Thanks for the feedback.

Ok, I guess my gauge is messed up. Able to start and rev. Going for another gauge to check spark on all. Opened top carb and pumped until fuel started flowing through. Then it started. Wonder if carb 2 and 3 weren't getting fuel under load?
