Bigs cracks in outer transom skin of 73 Larson. Need help please

Hello all. Just wanted first say thanks to everyone for posting all that you have on this forum. A great help! Now on to my problem. I'm in the process of rebuilding the old girl and everything was way past rotted out. So I began removing everything and the hull is in great shape except the transom has some good size cracks in the center right where the outboard clamps onto. Plus some fools notched out the transom years ago to fit a short shaft on there(I'm guessing). Any suggestions on exactly how to repair cracks and the cutout part. Should I cut away the section that has the cracks and just glass like hell in the cutout spot to build up thickness and then run some 1708 over the entire outer skin. Please hang with me while I try and post pics. Don't worry guys there are plenty of pics right now and there will be alot more

Sounds like you got some extra glassin' to do, one of the glass pro's should be along soon and will let you know what to do.

Sorry bout no pics yet was suppose to be home right after my first post. But unfortunately I'm had to head back to the office. Should have some up n a couple hrs. Thanks again for understanding guys

The first image is just rotated the one on the left has the correct position. Hopefully these are large enough i'll resize the other ones that I posted once I know this worked. thanks

You may want to enlarge those pix a tad..... Whatever you wrote on the 1st pix is so small you can't read it. Nor am I able to discern the damage in the pix

Here are just a few pics of what I'm dealing with on the transom. I have more that I can post if need be. But was wondering if I should just lay the new transom in and glue it in with some peanut butter and let it kick off really good, and go to the outer skin and fill up the space in between where the cut out was and smooth over and level out really good. Wait for it to either set or do a wet lay up of csm and 1708. Not to mention the entire bottom of the transom is around 1/4" thicker than the upper portion, Is there a way to level it out before I install the new transom or should I just use some thickened PB and lay it really heavy to make up the difference. Thanks guys.
