I have rebuilt this boat, including rebuilding my first transom. I would like to know the year, make and model if anyone knows what it is.

The serial number is X-3624

Here is a link to the pictures I have taken of its restoration.

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

Welcome to iboats! Another VT'r :D

We have a MFG section here http://forums.iboats.com/MFG?boatid=164 and the other place to look would be fiberclassics.com

Nice job on the restoration!!

I normally (not this year -2 major knee surgeries) boat on Bomoseen or Champlain.

You have questions on anything and someone on iboats can usually answer it.

Welcome again,
Bob

Thank you for the welcome, the help, and the compliment!!

I look forward to getting my boat on the water in the next few weeks, maybe I'll see you out there sometime!

I like it! What type of wood did you use? Stain? Varnish?

The wood is (believe it or not) 1/4" ac plywood that had a beautiful grain to it. I got it for $15 a sheet at the hardware store. Stain and varnish are both Minwax, the color is maple and the varnish is Spar varnish. 5 coats of varnish was applied to increase the life of the wood.
